Population in Bahrain

Kingdom of Bahrain is a very small country, it is an island actually. It's located in the middle east near by Saudi Arabia. Bahrain is a very small island which you can't even find it on the map unless you spend more than 20 minutes searching. However, the population in my country is fewer than 1 million. It has has a population of approximately 586,000 with an annual growth rate of 2.96%. Most of the population of Bahrain is concentrated in the two principal cities, Manama and Al Muharraq.

Muharaq city is located at the top and if you want to reach to the bottom which heading to Rass Al bar, it will take you an approximately of 25 minutes. Nowdays, many immigrants are moving to my country and the population is extremely exploding. It will reach to more than 2 million in the coming few years.

"The indigenous people -- 66% of the population -- are from the Arabian Peninsula (73%) and Persia (9%). Minorities and foreign residents include other Arabs, Iranians, Indians, Pakistanis, and small groups of East Asians and Europeans. Most of the population of the country is concentrated in the two principle cities, Manama and Al Muharraq"

The novel experience

The godfather novel is one of the best book that i have ever read. I think it worth the time that we spent working on it. What i personally got out from this book is really how to write such a story that mix's up with drama, love, anger and many things as well And what i really learned from the story is the hard vocablurary and how to used many words in other excersices. But unfortunately i couldn't do the presentation for health reasons but i hope that my friends covered my side and did well too. Actually I'm so interested to read the other books in the coming few weeks though.

Gender or Cross Cultures

Is the difference between males and females communicating similar to the difference between people from two different cultures? Why or why not?I think that these two comparisons are far away from each other. The communication between men and women are not that similar to the difference between people from two different cultures. Because actually, between the two genders its just misunderstanding the idea and the agreement. But on the other side, Mixed cultures are facing a bigger problem which is the impossibility to communicate and even to understand sometimes. I think that the main difference for the communication between males and females are just so simple and clear to be shown which is no one can lead to a point and if someones does the other gender will just don't agree and will try to make a bigger problem because they think that they are only perfect and better than the other gender. And for the other side as i previously explained is that mixed culture faces a bigger problem with is misunderstanding the main idea's and hard to communicate. Even for the mixed culture it has been clearly showed that the rate of divorces are really high from certain reasons. At the end, if someone doesn't agree please explain more about your reason :).

Happiness

1. Do you think these data collection tools are valid scientific tools? Why or Why not? (In research this is part of what is called validity)
No, i don't really think so. Because it is more focused on professional people, it may understand some people's situations but not for me as well and i think that this is just a computer program not natural. More over, i think that the only thing that will measure my happiness is myself.
2. Do you think your results would be if you took the on-line questionnaire at a different time, on a different day? Why or why not? (In research this is part of what is called reliability)
No, because your happiness level can change in any minute, because these feelings can be expressed on the daily basis programs, relationships, in jobs and in many places. So, if you one day you lost everything in your life and did the questionnaire you will probably get a poor mark and if you became happy this mark will be upgraded in a higher mark.I think, these results can be changed depending on the present life that people's have.
3. Which of the two tools is better to do with a large group of people (eg. university students, people living in cities versus rural locations, etc.) to discover patterns of happiness in a given population? Why do you think that one is better suited?
I think it may work for university students, because in university the student life can be clearly showed whether he/ she was happy or not. Their environment, personality, grades and usually income can be semi-fixed. So their life doesn't really change fast.

My experience of Learning a second language

In my opinion, Learning a second language from younger ages is much more easier than learning it at a much older age. This has been scientifically proven and looking back at myself at a younger age i do also see that the statement proves itself.
When I was young, I began studying english when I was 6 years old; in comparison, other children get taught Englsih even before going into nursery. Afer growing up, you can notice that the level of perfection of Engish is much less than to my peers. Therefore, i think that learning a second language at an early age has many positive outcomes after time becuase it will help us to improve our language, motivate our studies and let us communicate easier in the foreign world.
